House calls for your emulators.
EmuDoctor diagnoses and fixes RetroArch, Dolphin, PCSX2, DuckStation, and PPSSPP setups — and shows you the exact change, down to the line, before it touches a single file.
Every visit follows the same four steps.
You describe the outcome you want — “set up F-Zero GX for my TV and this controller” — and EmuDoctor works through a bounded loop with hard limits on how much it may read, change, and launch.
Inspect
Reads your hardware, emulator configs, logs, and controllers. Read-only, automatic, and capped per run.
Prescribe
Proposes one exact change: old line, new line, file, and hash. Never a vague “optimized your settings.”
Consent
Nothing applies until you confirm — a deliberate held press, not a stray tap. Each approval works exactly once.
Verify
Writes atomically, reads back, snapshots. It can launch the game, watch what happens, and ask what you saw.
The model never gets a shell.
EmuDoctor’s AI chooses from a fixed registry of guarded capabilities — it cannot run commands, invent tools, or act outside them. The safety rails are enforced by the operator, not by trusting the model.
Five emulators, one doctor.
Works alongside EmuDeck, Playnite, LaunchBox, ES-DE, and Steam ROM Manager — including per-game overrides, controller profiles, shader presets, and launch-and-observe testing. Without an AI key, it still works as a deterministic command-and-settings operator.
